Steering wheel srs resistor
06 wrangler X 4.0L 6spd. I have all the parts to swap out the steering wheel but before I begin I want to get the srs resistor solved. Does anyone know which resistor is needed to keep the light off? Im tempted to measure it myself but the possibility of deploying the bag is a big deterent.

Well i would not test the air bags resistance, could end up in bad way since it takes little to set one off a 9v battery will do. heck i bet a static discharge could do it. But to trick the SRS you would looking at what it needs as a signal that the AB is there. No airbags in this test or other. why test it? But what value of i looked for simple and never heard of one gave up. One could just test many resistors until the light goes out? not even sure whats close. Fact is my 12 is trail jeep and sees so little street any more. rides a trailer to and from.
I dont think you find alot about what you are looking for, more over here. I dont run airbags in a 2012 jkr, to many issues with the system. But i do run harnesses as well. Yep red light is on. Dings once at start and thats all. Getting seat belt ding and light is an easy one to stop. just close the open circuit. Its a simple switch not a value.
