Yea even if you find someone who is "generous" they have to plug it in to check emissions no matter what. You may be able to reset the code right before you leave it to be inspected, but I'm not 100% sure

420, 445, 1486, 455, and another evap one, I can't remember off the top of my head.

My buddy who smoked it said he would try the leak detection pump, so that'll be part number 1.

I know you can't pass, but some people can just write a sticker for the windshield.

Don't think resetting works. Computer will read systems as not ready to be tested. Takes a certain number of start cycles and/or miles driven for all systems to come back on line. If there is a problem as soon as they come on line they'll throw the code.

Does this really work any more with technology? I was under impression they have to plug your OBDII into a computer that connects to DMV. Pretty tough to fake it. Even with a faked sticker, DMV will know you didn't get inspected and they will catch up with you. Will hold your registration and if you ever get pulled over it will show up. And the penalties for these guys are pretty severe if they get caught faking it for you. Something like 10k.

I reset it last year. I had pretty much the same problems. You have to just drive long enough for the systems to be ready and hope the light doesn't come on before then.

Not my dd so it's not really urgent but it did creep up quickly

Ok thanx James, I have a bud looking for something decent I'll mention it to him. I think Quake is looking for one too.

Saturday is a no-go for me, wife's B-day.

Was on the trails with my kid yesterday afternoon, with the warm temp and snowmelt there was more water than I have ever seen! The ground underneath is still frozen so the water is stuck on the suface and deep, the twister is full to the top and the stream would only be doable with a snorkel. The old bridge would be completely submerged if it was still there, just a guess but over 5ft deep yesterday. Would be pretty close to the inlet of the snorkel on sadass's jeep at the moment, would make for some great photo's I'm sure.

To Mikes!!!!!

PS: Found this on craigslist. Normal price on Ebay is $655. Rear bumper with tire carrier like Mikds but for a YJ or TJ. I already have a bumper coming in the mail so its free game!
