Lol. I bought my jeep off someone who lives off station road. It was sitting on the side of the road about this time this years.

PS: I found some more frame rot that scares me a lot more. I have a feeling my front drivers side shackle will fall off any day now after what I saw yesterday.

Never force anything... Just get a bigger hammer.

Yea buddy Pf mine is a excellent welder he's my go too. He has a YJ too but for some reason he is one of those who paid $650 for a mint original mile Yj. Well was Ruff but new battery alternator she was on road good. Frame is better than so many I have seen hence I can't pay more for a YJ of its not better than his.

Doesn't hurt to tell the locals but I have a set of 5 Rubicon TJ wheels and 245/75-16 (31x10.5) BFG KM2 tires with less than 1000 miles on them sitting here off my rubicon. In great shape. If anyone knows a local who may want themselves I would like $1,000 for them. Spare tire is still original brand new goodyear mud tire w nubs still on it.

The frame is the main problem with YJs in my opinion. You need to know what to look for. Not going to make the same mistake next time.
