Rough crowd here!

Back to jeep related stuff, hoping to have our jk back this Friday. We had an encounter with some high speed suicidal beef last week, pushed the grille and rad back into the motor. Have had the same ins. policy for 26yrs, first time I've had to use it. Really hoping no issues or a rise in rates!

Seems the wheeling year is off to a pretty good start! Now, if I could just find a set of 37's that I can afford I'll be able to finish off the jeep. Well sort of, not sure a jeep is ever finished.

James, sent Erik a txt to check out your buddies yj. He sold his car and a dirtbike last weekend so he is starting his search for a good project now.

James, if your free next Saturday gonna have some jeeps at my place. I cut a new trail down across the larger stream, after running it with the rzr I will have to adjust the route it may be too off-camber for the jeeps. It's enough that the rzr actually crabs a bit.

Got the jk back from the bodyshop, they did a nice job. Everything seems to be back to normal. Now for work to pick up so I can get the tires and finally install the lift that has been sitting in the garage since last summer!

Does anyone recommend a mechanic near New Paltz that has done a lot of work on jeeps? I'm planning a Swayloc / Currie antirock install along with some tube fenders. The local mechanic has done a lot of good work for me but I suspect that setting up the install angles of the Swayloc product might be better done by someone who is more specialized in off road jeeps.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

2006 Rubicon, Detonator Yellow, 5.5" Clayton Long Arm lift, 37" Pitbull Rockers, Atlas 4:1 transfer case. Dyntrac PR60 axles (RCV shafts in front), ARB F&R Lockers, Superwinch Talon 9.5 Winch, Metal Cloak Fenders, Currie Antirock in the front, Clayton TJ skid, Genright Crawler gas tank & skid. Fox Coilover shocks in the rear. 5" WB stretch.
