Becasue you dont have to drive over the dirt pile...its a seasonal road on the other end...you can drive up the other end with no issue all the way to the tank trap.

Ah gotcha.

is this trail still open?

DinnerYeti 09-29-2010 12:03 PM

Yes, it is. I was up there about a week ago.

terpsmandan 09-29-2010 01:39 PM

Can't wait to go find it. I drove right past it once when I was out looking. There is an ATV trail off of Hornby Rd about 3/4 mile west of that map coord.

Kraxen 09-29-2010 02:46 PM

any of you guys go to waynes world last saturday in hornby?

lifted05nissan 09-29-2010 02:48 PM

Nevermind, was very far off. Wasn't using a GPS.

terpsmandan 09-29-2010 03:03 PM

Those coord put you near the corner of Hornby Rd and Chambers Rd. last time I drove past there, I didn't notice anything, but I also wasn't looking. Let me know where it ends up to be. Thanks.

terpsmandan 09-29-2010 03:19 PM

So lifted05nissan, did you find it? Also Kraxen, where is Waynes World in Hornby?

lifted05nissan 09-29-2010 04:09 PM

didn't make it up there yet, will try this evening or tomorrow.

i couldnt tell you how to get there but i know where its at if i drove  if you look on Back Country 4 Wheelers Inc | Home they have a schedule of the mudruns in the bath/hornby area.

terpsmandan 09-29-2010 07:15 PM

Their usual place to go mudding is in Cameron, south of Bath. Is that what you are talking about? That's 20 miles from Hornby.

Kraxen 09-30-2010 11:54 AM

yeah thats probably it. i always go with my brother who lives in rock stream so i just follow or ride with him

lifted05nissan 10-01-2010 08:24 PM

I went up there yesterday during the heavy rains, couldn't find anything. When you come up hornby rd off rt 414 and get to chambers rd, if you are to turn right and follow chambers rd it comes to an intersection with coon hollow rd and a road that appears seasonal. I must have been close.

terpsmandan 10-02-2010 07:59 AM

That seasonal road should be it. Let me know if I am right or wrong dinneryeti. There are a few other roads like that in the area and I posted their coords earlier in this post. Let me know when you find it.

Hey thanks for the GPS location. I just found my way there today and a little fun. Didn't get into to much of the nasty stuff as I was alone but hit some good mud holes and what not. No pics in action because again I was alone but have an after shot.

Looks like you had fun. You should join us in Savona this weekend.
