PCM's for 2000 XJ auto 4.0

I want 2 WORKING PCMs for Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0 in very good condition.

I would like them out of jeeps that ran without codes but are damaged or being junked.
I need good ones that can be reprogrammed for my vehicles.

Ideally one or both would have the plugs intact with long pigtails for splicing in.

I don't claim to know how to do any of this and will seek out those who do.

I am interested in advice, suggestions, tips and tricks as well.

Thank-you!

gotta ask do you have SKIS the security option, the transponder key option? Hopefully NO that is something to consider.

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

NO I do not thank goodness.
I am going to post pics of the PCM Labels to match the ones I need to get duplicates of.

The intent will be the same as the sensors I posted on, I intend to R&R the PCM and Bag the original in a safe place, If I am going to have spares I want to be certain I have WORKING spares.

Send me a Private Message, I have a few spare 97 - 01 PCM's.

If you are re-programming, the PCM is not year specific, any Jeep 4.0 OBD-II PCM can be re-programmed.

You can plug and play with no programming if the part number matches exactly. The last letters of the part number can be ignored.

1999 P/N is P56041 493.
2000 with no pre-cats ( 49 states emissions ) P/N is 56041 634

Replied 7/12. I can test the 99 and 00.

I have:

1999 P/N is P56041 493.
2000 with no pre-cats ( 49 states emissions ) P/N 56041 634
2001 P/N 56041 801AD

I see no reason why the 2001 will not work in a 2000 w/pre-cats.

$75 each.
