I just saw this. Yeah, I'm pretty sure you stole at least an acre of land from rausch and are still storing it somewhere in those poor skids haha

Edit: the red cloud trip will also most likely be the LAST, if not the second to last, trip for me... Running 3.21 open/open at least! So I may be a little happy with the skinny peddle in the mud.

Winchester area

Cody, thanks for the update. I am going to try to make this one. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Better yet, maybe it won't.

I hope you can make it buddy. Do you still have my phone number?

It'd be nice to have a fair amount of bad weather, if it's too bad he might close the park. Either rain/few inches of snow. Both will make for a lot of winching

No sir. JJOHNSON is a pro at winching now, I'm just a pro at leading him where he gets stuck and laughing! I'll pm you my number

yes! I have a question, I have a two inch budget booster so basically the 4 pucks and I have the stock shocks, people say i don't need new coils or shocks to go off roading is that true?

Sorry for the late response: was out wheeling today!

Do you need them? That depends on how you wheel. Stock springs with pucks won't give you any more articulation than a stock jeep. But it will give you better angles and the ability to run larger tires. So essentially, no you don't NEED them and as long as you aren't expecting your BB to preform like a full blown lift kit, you're good

Pm me your info (cell, email, whatever your comfortable with) so I can fill you in on the details of Red cloud. Trying get a head count and don't want to post anything until this upcoming week when everything is final.

Sorry, if I am looking in the wrong place, but I believe this thread is now 4+ years old. Is there anyone in the Winchester area that can pass along some trail info in Northern Virginia - or anywhere in Loudoun nearby counties of WV ? thanks in advance.
