WJ Rear Speakers: Does an exact replacement size exist?

WJ Rear Speakers: Does an exact replacement size exist with correctly positioned screw holes to screw into the door without modification? Want to avoid using a smaller speaker size nestled within an adapter bracket.

Apparently the rear OEM speakers are 6.75". Is this correct?

I recently replaced the rears with some Infinity 6.5" that came with an adapter that worked perfectly for the stock door enclosures. In reality, you're not going to notice a difference between 6.5" and 6.75". BTW - they sound much cleaner than stock

I bought them some years back, but the model number at the time was 6032cf. According to Crutchfield, the current replacement speaker is 6532ex.

Hope it helps!

I haven't done it myself, but when I was digging around I saw a few people saying stock JK and WK speakers have the same fitment, so one of the optional upgrade sets from those might be a nice step up.

So are those the OEM speakers used for the Laredo? Or the Limited with the upgraded sound? I have Laredo and want to improve the original speakers? Thanks

I pulled out the rear OEM Mopar speaker in my Laredo. It's an "Oxford" brand, made in USA.

you can buy the 2.5 dash speakers, the 6x9 front door speakers and the round 6.75 for the rear doors. these are all infinity speakers, used with the premium infinity amp system. if you can find one, chrysler also made a giant bass speaker, amp and cabinet, that mounted behind the rear seats.

Appreciate feedback. In case someone comes across this thread in the future, I installed this for the rear:

REAR SPEAKERS: Pioneer TS-G1620F (requires 6.5" to 6.75" adapter bracket)
REAR ADAPTER BRACKET: METRA 82-6600
REAR WIRING HARNESS: METRA 72-6514

Lessons learned:

A) Roll the window down to make sure it doesn't "grab" the wiring harness and unplug the speaker. I used some friction tape to tape the slack in the wire to the speaker and door to prevent the wire from getting yanked out by the window.
B) if using the Metra wiring harness, they slip on the speaker terminals without solder. Use needle nose pliers and squeeze them after slipping them on. This will make for a more permanent connection.
