Rough country lifts. Iíve got my self another WJ. 04 limited 4.7. Iím looking at lifting this one. There many kits out there. I noticed that Rough Country 4.0 inch lift use a lower control arm relocation bracket. No one else does. Anyone use there kit?

Looks fantastic! I'm hot on your heels with the same ideas.

Anything you would change if you did it again?

Is there any reason I shouldn't skip the benchmark and go straight to the long arm kit?

Thanks!

Finally pretty much got the lift done, drove it around about 20 miles and it feels pretty good, need to get the wheel centered up but that's for another thread.
IRO foundation series 3'' coil spring lift
IRO adjustable track bar
Bilstein 5100 series shocks
Moog trail boss HD steering stabilizer
New coil spring isolators front/rear
New front stock sway bar links
Addco rear sway bar
No wheel spacers
265/7517 tires, No rubbing yet but only 20 miles in.

Sorry for the incredibly late reply! Have since sold that Jeep. Rubbing only at full lock with the steering, I'm sure offroad it would rub in some other locations. Picked up another WJ and planning the same setup. Was very pleased with the ride height and ground clearance, those DT8000 shocks sucked and I would absolutely suggest the Bilsteins (haven't used them yet myself). I purchased through Kolak.

why is my jeep always breaking???

Has anyone on this page used CORE 4x4 Adjustable Control Arms? Thoughts and are they worth the money? Bushings are worn on the stock arms and I think they are about to go...

3.5" of lift, 32" BFG KM's, quick disconnects, Doetsch Tech Shocks

Yes I have used them on a TJ Wrangler and an XJ Cherokee. I just ordered rears for my WJ on Monday. Iíve never had an issue with them.

My chart says 31.4 inches What is the limit 30.0? 245 65 17 is 29.5 At that I guess the factory size is the largest you can go without lift. THe question was because I could have gotten a great deal on 4 245 75 17 tires.

my Parts rig 04 WJ I slapped a set of 265/75r16 off the JK on it they rub quite a bit, so without trimming, and even removing the foglights doubt the 245/17 will work...
