WJ Jeep won't start

My Jeep won't start. I hear this ongoing clicking sound under my dashboard as my trickle charger charges my battery. Not really sure if the battery is low or if there is a connection issue where the starter won't turn over the engine. I don't see ANY dash lights when I attempt to start the Jeep. Just hear a clicking sound all the time. Please advise

I would first make sure your terminals are tightly connected, then have the battery checked. I had a similar issue a few years ago, and it was the battery.

I took the battery to the shop, it tested excellent. 900 cold cranking amps. I made sure my terminals were cleaned and tight. The car doesn't click over when I attempt to turn the key. I hear some clicking noise in the dash. My power locks do not work with my remote. Seems like something electrical. Thoughts?

What happens why you try to start it in Neutral with your foot on the brake pedal? Any difference?

When I put it in neutral and try to start the car, nothing happens. No dash lights, no click. My door locks do work though on all 4 if I use the master switch. Not sure if that means anything.

Do your brake lights work? Had the brake switch go out in a work truck once, and it clicks when it goes bad and won’t let you start the vehicle (this wasn’t a Jeep so not sure if it would apply here but it should be an easy fix if that’s the issue). And the switch was located behind the pedal where it connected to the rod, if that’s where the sound is coming from.
