nothing wrong with homemade. i got a deal on my goliath, as a "blem". i see nothing wrong with it, and it's a hidden part anyways, so score for me! i run off--road at work, basically like running fire-roads or trails through the swamps, and i run them at regular road speeds. it's hell on the suspension running at 40 mph down the right-of-way, so i understand why my crown stuff failed, but it should have lasted a year at least, right? i run the wj like i'm chasing rod hall down the baja, so i take a tiny bit of responsibility for the rapidly failing suspension parts.

Had to cover it because I haven't heard when the solenoid block is arriving. Don't need the pine tree dripping pitch all over it.

I got the front tcase seal free, and the new one in. After doing that one and the pinion seal I officially hate these kinds of seals so hopefully I don't have to do any more. I got the new tcase yoke back on too, this time without the old spline gasket still on it (oops) so hopefully it won't leak any more.

talked to alex at iro he says the spacer is not needed, with the new adjustable a-arm with the ball/trunion joints on it. so, i guess i'm gonna put it into the box with all the other extra stuff i didn't really need, but somehow ended up with anyways.

Are you running a class 4 towing package in the Special Edition? What does the trailer weigh loaded? How did it handle towing the trailer?

finished the rear end work. new upper and lower control arms, new shocks, new swaybar, and bushings. new end links, new brakes, rotors, calipers. still have that mf'ing rattle. i'm gonna do the charcoal canister bracket behind the rear bumper fascia. the only thing it can be, after that, is the rear liftgate. the wander it had developed over the past couple of months is gone though.

I think these guys were a little corroded. Placed an order with Jeepcables.com for an upgrade. The ground side clamp is almost completely gone

What is that cool little bellows thing you have attached to your axle breather port?
