Weird coolant leak location

Just slapped a used 4.0 in my WJ today filled her up with fluids and of course I see coolant coming out the bottom. Ok ok I must have forgot to put something on. Nope, it’s dripping out from what looks like the front of the oil pan right over the top of the gasket. Front of the block looks fine I’m not seeing coolant by the water pump or the stat housing. Wtf am I missing before I shoot this truck and drive it off a cliff. I am so tired of taking this thing apart it sucks to be poor. Lol

I’ll take a vid in the morning and post it up or at least pics. Just makes no sense it’s coming from there

You can see it dripping from what appears to be right over the oil pan gasket

Did it start dripping right after the repair before you drove it much? Maybe a dumb question, but are you sure it isn't coming from somewhere else and getting blown onto where it looks like its dripping from?

I'd clean the whole front area of the motor off with brake clean and hit it all with an air gun to get it good and dry, then fire the motor up and watch it again.

Is there water in the oil? Seems like there should be if its coming out of that seam...But i would make dang sure its not coming from the water pump or higher if it were me...theromostat housing maybe?

might be dripping down from the water pump housing making it look like it's coming from the front main area

That coolant has to be coming from somewhere besides the oil pan gasket. If it is not the thermostat, water pump, or heater hoses, maybe it is the timing chain cover? I think mine is seeping a bit.

From the "weep" hole? Under the water pump? Hard to tell -
What they said to do - clean it up, dry it off with air, bright light, watch it....
