Trying to purchase Mopar antifreeze what is the right part # if possible

I have a - 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 -

- Last summer installed a new radiator & waterpump and went to a parts store ordered 15 quarts, (4 gallons) of
Mopar Antifreeze Part #68051212AB

Yesterday I wanted to purchase an additional gallon of antifreeze for backup and to top off my system however when I put that part number in several websites I went to said this antifreeze was NOT the correct stuff for my jeep...

Did the part store sell me the wrong stuff? The last 12 months jeep runs fine no problems.

I am trying to find the right stuff, the right part number to order a gallon or two BUT now if I get the right stuff (the right part number) not sure I can just add the new stuff to the old?

I recently disposed of a bottle unfortunately, but as an alternative you can get G-05 ZEREX by Valvoline.

Quicks search shows the MOPAR stuff is MS-9769.

Cool

As stated above Zerex G-05 is a perfectly good alternative. The correct Mopar coolant if you need it is:

Genuine Mopar Fluid 68048953AB Antifreeze/Coolant - 1 Gallon Bottle

You can get it from Amazon if not from the dealer:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the Full strength version.

If you need/want 50/50 premix it's: 68163849AB

The two I listed above are HOAT type coolant. The coolant you originally purchased is HOAT type also but listed mostly for 2011-2013 FCA vehicles with some as early as 2007. Being as they're both HOAT type, I wouldn't worry too much about having what you originally purchased in there. The Zerex will be more readily available locally and most likely cheaper than the Mopar stuff.

G-05 went into mine this past weekend. It's easier to find and costs less.
