Those exhaust manifold bolt(s) broken yet?

It's a common problem for the driver-side rear exhaust manifold bolt(s) to break on the WJ's. If yours have broken, what was the mileage when they went?

It gets worse than that. I am going to assume that very few people actually put a straight edge across the manifold once the rear bolts have broken to determine just how warped the manifold is. I took mine to a machine shop to get trued up and they couldn't, the manifold was too warped. Most just put the new gasket in and tighten with new bolts. Thankfully the gasket is pretty thick and has some crushability to it to compensate.

You like polls; don't you?

Mine broke around 106k. One of the easiest fixes I've had to do so far.

Mine went around 50k I think and one bolt sheared off flush with the block so I had to drill and extract it out, not the easiest fix that I have had.
