Dual front stabilizers is never needed. total sales gimmick.

just make is a reliable as you can. When in the outback is not the time to have to fix something. More over if you go alone.

Not a WJ person but. It its past the 100k mark or 150k. things like ball joints tend to be rather worn out. depends on use too. My jeep they were shot at 20k< totally shot from being new. Where my tow rig 96 f250 they were shot at 160k. The wifes 03 Excursion 4x4 at 250k I had to totally rebuild the front end. Its a D50 so axle U joints , dif seals, ball joint, bearings etc.. as well geared for the her 35s to 4.30 gears. I dont DD the jeep its off road use 99%. should be good to say 500k now......we do drive them anywhere towing loads to 10k. Keep the old iron its better then the new.

Yeah, one came with the track bar then i replaced the factory one. Reliability is the main thing i want. With at least mild capability, especially being out in Utah, there are tons of opportunities to put it to use.

Good start, next thing to look at would be a winch a traction device for upgrades. Then just rolling with maintenance items.

It’s the 4.0. Moab this summer is the plan. Just got to get it ready enough to make the drive down there first. Lol

Sounds like you and me are on the same path. Im looking forward to taking something i can drive to and from as well. My Blazer was no fun on a long ride. This should be alot more fun.

Anyone with input on aftermarket transmission coolers? I have the 4.0 and don’t intend on towing. However, it’s a few hours drive to MOAB and that route can get pretty hot in summer. Is it worth the difference and which brands would you recommend?
