squeal in the rear end

Im getting a squeal in thr lower rear of the vehicle while running. Does it in park and while driving its not real loud. I'm guessing maybe fuel pump? and go ahead and laugh at this post I did while writing it.

I have the same issue. Think it’s the evap canister. Doesn’t seem to be a fuel issue.

With the Jeep running, stick your head under the driver side rear of the bumper cover. It should isolate to the left corner where the evap crap is.

I haven’t found mine to be an issue. I think it has to do with the EVAP leak detection pump (which is under the hood). I have a check engine light and EVAP codes but it runs fine.

So I’d say 2-3... lol.

May be fuel filter. Mine has whistled since I replaced it about 15k ago. But with as much noise as the Jeep makes anyways, its the least of my concerns!

X2 on the fuel filter. I have done three different filters and two different brands, and they all made noises until i got about 5K miles on it.
