Replacement part on engine - what is this?

Hi everyone,

Forgive me, I'm a complete car noob but I've been reading the forums and there's lots of great info on here.

However I can't seem to locate what is this part and where I can get a replacement? It seems like it's a wire shield of some sort? I noticed the one on mine is cracked. Seems to be made of plastic or something? I've attached a pic below of the part (circled in red)

If anyone could let me know what this does/ what it's called and where I can get a replacement (or if it even matters to replace it or not) would be helpful.

Thanks

I'm not good with 4.0 but I'm guessing it's the fuel rail.
Never mind its not the fuel rail. That is part of your electrical harness. It houses the wires for the injectors.

How well does your engine run? Do you have any problems with it? If not, then what is your interest in fixing it?

As said, it's simply a plastic shield/sleeve for the injector wires. It's not actually necessary, although it obviously helps protect the wires.

Cheapest source for a replacement would be a junkyard, although they pretty much all start getting brittle and cracking as they age and go through all those heating/cooling cycles.
