Question Permanent red light on top of dash

The battery on my 2001 WJ goes flat a lot due to lack of use. Usually this isn't an issue but, since the last time I've taken the battery out, recharged, and refitted it, the little red light on the top left of the dash is on all the time.

This is the little red light related to the alarm. The one that blinks when it's set. The one on the same panel as the tweeters.

I cannot get it to switch off. It's on all the time, even when driving.

I've tried disconnecting the battery for ten minutes, holding various key fob buttons down in various combinations, and locking the doors with the fob followed by unlocking them with the key in an attempt to reset the alarm. No dice.

Short of sacrificing ten virgins to the Jeep gods, which is impossible during lockdown, I'm at a loss and considering just removing the bulb.

I'm confident it's related to the alarm somehow as the Jeep now no longer chirps if I set the alarm with a door ajar and I cannot get the alarm to go off by leaving a window down and opening a door from the inside while it's set.

I've checked the door wires and all the fuses. No issues there.

Thanks for the replies. Good advice.

All fuses checked but not sure how to test the relays (I'll look into that).

I'll do a code dump as well.

Swap relay with another next to it in the relay box, that's what I did when I was having probs with my alarm.
