Overland Seat Cushions and Size

Just picked up a 2003 Limited Overland. Very nice shape except for the seat leather. Looking to re-cover them. An upholstery shop is saying the patterns are different and the seats look bigger (I call BS on that last part).

Anyone know if the cushion is the same as normal limited or laredos?

Could be valid, although IDK why....

Drivers seat cushion: 5093495AA
Fits 03-04, Laredo, Limited, Overland.

Seat cover: XU141DBAA
Fits 2003 Overland 4WD

When I used the "check fitment" feature against the seat cover and entered a 2003 Laredo, it says it doesn't fit...

Laredo?. Is that "cover" the actual vinyl/leather cover? If so that is a great price.

Great price indeed. Too bad Mother Mopar doesn't make them anymore! This place makes a DRV/PASS set for $1000: https://www.shopsar.com/jeep-grand-c...katz-aje08.htm two-tone is only $100 more. $600/seat for fresh custom fit two-tone leather doesn't sound too bad to me....

As I think about the Overland being a different size, I am wonder if it is because leather doesn't stretch like the fabric covers. Maybe they need a hair more room so the cushion doesn't get bunched up under it.....

Overland cushions and patterns are different. I’ve found them to me more supportive.

I put a limited cushion in my overland driver's seat seems the same to me. However my laredo seems to have thinner cushions more squishy idk if it's just more women out or what.

To confirm what is above. The cover is different. The cushion is the same as a Limited. Covers can not be found in aftermarket but Katzkyn does have a limited pattern.

My local Jeep dealer seems to be the best price (imagine that! I found out after they beat Tirerack for tires by $20/ tire!)

If it pans out I will get all new leather for about $900.

I wonder if they’ll fit over Laredo foam…
