No tail lights

My brake lights and blinkers work, but my taillights do not. I've checked the bulbs and the fuse, but neither of those are the problem. I need to fix it ASAP for safety reasons obviously, and I've been pulled over once for them as well and let off with a warning. What would it be?

Check the pigtails for corrosion. Be careful not to break the pins if they are corroded. Scrape the corrosion off the pins with a pick or small file. A little dab of petroleum jelly on the sockets and pins will help resist moisture in the sockets.

Several good threads about this issue exist including another current one. Usually the problem is the tail light housing "circuit board". It's one of those things that virtually all WJ owners have to deal with sooner or later. Dorman makes a replacement that may or may not be any better than the OE part but they're not normally more expensive than you might expect them to be.

Rage! Rage against the dying of the Jeep.
