Jeep shutting down while running

Posting for my brother in FL.
He states that his WJ 4.0, 2wd, is shutting down on him while driving. Motor runs fine otherwise. No codes. He said it seems to happen when the motor is warmed up. Once it shuts off he needs to wait for a while ~30 minutes before it will start again.
Any advice is appreciated.

Sounds fuel related. Double check the fuel pressure with a good gauge, you will want to tape it to your windshield wiper so you can see it from the drivers seat. then drive and watch for pressure loss when it starts to act up. My WJ did this for a couple of days before i put the gauge on it, then it was obvious when the pump quit working. It was like the pump was overheating after a short time running, and then i had to wait for it to cool down before it would go again. If it needs a pump, Change the fuel filter at the same time, but be prepared for whining for about 5000 miles afterward. My Jeep still whines intermittently, since i did mine...

@Bigrigr
He has changed the pump less than 2k miles ago. He seems to think itís the CPS and has changed it today. Said everything is fine. Curious to know if that was the issue. Time will tell.

Well, mine was doing the same thing. It would shut off while driving and turn on if i turned the key. Not a huge deal until one day, it shut off, and, it would not turn on at all for about an hour. Mind you I was stranded on a busy street. We tried everything and the damn thing would only crank. When the CPS sensor was removed, the part the bolt goes through was broken, so, the sensor had some play. Once that was changed, I never had that issue again.

He felt the CPS was the issue and changed it. Seems to be running fine now. Iíll post back if that wasnít the issue but for now I consider it solved.
