how many WJ use a dual steering stabilizer set up?? what set up are you running? post some pics if you can. are you running that set up to cure Death wobble..

I am currently dealing with the whole Death Wobble problem and it is a pain.

I have a 99 WJ 3.5" coils with 2" BB all 4 adjustable front control arms. upgraded steering stabilizer. bushings tie rod ends and drag bar all where checked out by a shop said they were in good shape.

what are some other areas to check.. with out just dumping parts into it

thanks guys.
ps I'm a noob on here

I'll bet your Jeep that your DW is caused from your Trackbar relocation thing-a-ma-jig. Who makes it? Ditch the relocator and get an adjustable trackbar.

Get an adj. track bar first before you go buy a dual SS kit. You probably won't even need the dual SS kit once you get an adj. track bar.

I bought a dual-SS kit, but ended up just ditching the lower one (kept getting damaged by rocks) and running a single upper SS.

Relocate the SS with an HD one and be done. The lower is going to get ruined if you offroad. A single HD SS keeps my unbalanced 35's and sloppy steering box under control.

I use a dual SS from Rough Country..I have no complaints...but you should ditch the TB relocator bracket and invest in a adj trac bar...i had to ditch my weak relocation bracket and went with adj trac bar to cure the "wobble wobble"...I can only assume that the dual SS helped...

Funny thing is, I'm in a similar boat that the OP is in. Running my 2.5" BB with the UC springs, I've had death wobble ever since. I've tossed in a JKS adjustable trackbar, tightened the steering box so it's not as sloppy, I'm only running 32's, and I know my tierods are good. The SS and tires are fairly new as well. I'm honestly at my wits end. So! Dual SS setup is in the mail and should be here soon to see if it helps fix the problem. I'll be able to let ya know in a week. As for the track bar relocator... Arlo is right, per usual. (I hate saying that... )

I have the OME heavy duty lift kit and JKS track-bar installed on my WJ and am getting death wobble like crazy. It's becoming more evident to me that it is not safe at all. I was on the highway towing and got DW in Omaha on my way back from Chicago to Denver and had to virtually stop...almost got rear ended.. I have replaced the CV joints, aligned front end, aligned track bar, changed tie rod ends, and currently have an OME steering stabilizer, but am still getting DW. Should I upgrade to the dual SS? Or does anyone else have any other solutions to my problem?
I love the OME kit and do not want to get rid of it, but if I can't figure it out I might go back to stock :/
