Wj how do i get rhino liner off my hood?

the previous owner put some kind of rhino liner down the middle of the hood on my white jeep.....any tips on how to get it off? without taking the paint off with it? it looks obscene

You're better off getting a hood out of the junkyard or someone that's parting out a WJ that's the same color.

Bedliner products don't typically come off easily and pre-application prep involves sanding the existing surface.

Yup. It's either a "new" matching hood or you're looking at sanding and re-painting.

Granted, if you're curious, sanding and painting a hood is an awesome project for learning the process.

I'd grab a new hood from a salvage yard. Sanding bedliner does not sound like fun.

I've been thinking about doing that to my (now) bare floorboards. It's very reassuring to hear about the .. uhm .. "durability".

Look into U-Pol Raptor. You can find it on Amazon for fairly cheap (with an included sprayer). I've heard good things.

A friend of mine painted his Grand Cherokee with Rhino liner, never has to worry about scratches. Still looks good after all these years
