HO intakes

So I know about how rare the 02 HO intakes are, but we're they placed in anything other then keeps like a Durango or anything like that? I have found myself with a Chrysler intake with a part number of 53013403AD. I looked it up and found it as a HO I believe... Some of the listings had me scatching my head cause at one point it said it was a HO but others said it was a regular intake. Can anyone help me out please and let me know if it is a good idea to invest in. Thank you again. Oh and for more info I drive a 2000 limited wj 4.7 powertech.

Go to THIS LINK

There are some detailed photos there for comparison as well.

Based on P/N that looks to be a 2004 HO manifold.

As far as invest in, do you mean for increased power?

Or is there a problem with yours and you need a replacement?

Honestly it's for more hp. I have searched everywhere for the 02 one and of course no luck. My buddy just had this one laying around in his mini junk yard and he said I could grab it for 20 bucks

The 2002 HO manifold has shorter runners than the standard 1999-2002 4.7 manifold. Then in 2003 all WJs got a new manifold, one with even shorter runners vs the 2002 HO manifold. 2003 and 2004 model years had the same new, short runner manifold regardless of whether it's a standard 4.7 or an HO.

So is the 08 manifold on the Dodge more desirable than the 04 Jeep manifold? I have an 02 Overland with the 4.7 HO.

Yes, so if you where to swap it out you'd be better off finding a 08+ intake.

You will need a throttle body adapter for the '08 style manifold. Air Ram should have them:

Yeah it's easier to get hold of the adapter than the manifold.

They just don't exist over here in the UK.
