Now thats the way to do it! No goofy looking V3 housings, this looks so much cleaner! Where did you get the projectors?

Looks good, I did mine over the summer here are some pics.

What projectors did you use, and how hard was it for you to open those lights? Lol I had a hell of a time.

Thanks everyone,
Gafford44, that's a nice job and I like your shrouds alot. I heard the OEM lights are hard to get apart so I used aftermarket which practically fell apart by themselves once I heated them up.
I used FX-R Bi-Xenon projectors (high/low beam) from the theretrofitsource.com ($130)
I tied the HID high beam into the Halogen high beam for twice the punch.
I also used
a 9006 HD harness, ($35)
Morimoto 35w Ballasts, ($100)
E46-R shrouds ($30)
Philips 85122+ (4300k) bulbs, ($90)
The headlights were used aftermarket from ebay ($30) and I used the 3M headlight kit to clean up the lenses ($22)
Sorry that I don't have pics of all the steps (in a bit of a hurry) but I plan on putting together a writeup when I do a second set for a customer.
I can tell you that it was fairly easy to do but I had some practice after retrofitting my XJ. (see GoJeep link)
Anyone with any mechanical skill can do it if your patient. The WJ headlight was really designed for projectors and you will be amazed, stunned and ecstatic once you see the difference. Honestly, there isn't a stock vehicle on the road that can match the light output of these projectors and they put to shame the newer Jeep Grand Cherokee's with OEM HID.
I appreciate the responses and I hope I answered at least some of your questions...feel free to PM me if you need help.

What would it look like with projectors in both the low and high beam sections of the headlights?

Your writeup was the first one I saw when I was considering doing the retro with FX-R's so...thank you! You also steered me away from the V3 housings.
