I like the way they look next to your black grill. Feel good about it, they set your rig apart and give it a custom look.

Any pics of the beam pattern? Is night visibility better than stock? Or about the same?

Being the bulbs that come with these are just Halogens like the oem and the fact the reflective backing /housing is smaller in size they are actually a bit LESS bright then oems.....they come with 9006 bulbs so these 9006 LED's will swap right over with a huge improvement in brightness>> https://www.ebay.com/itm/28341343418...sAAOSwlx9fZDTl

Still super stoked at the cosmetic improvement these make on the WJ....parking next to new cars and basically at a glance can't tell by front end of who's car is newer

Drop-in LED bulbs are a dangerous and ineffective way to efficiently improve the amount of useful light where you need it. The reflectors inside of headlamps for halogens are DESIGNED for halogens. The way the filament is placed and positioned is key here and LED drop-in bulbs do not replicate the exact placement and position of halogens. What you end up with is at best worse usable light for you and at worse a huge amount of hurtful glare to oncoming drivers. The same is true for drop-in HID kits. Both LEDs and HIDs are illegal in fact due to the dangerous conditions they create for all drivers on the road.

Uhmmmm....
@wjrow , I think that led lamp manufacturers position the led bulb in the exact position of the filament in the halogen lamps; it would be stupid not to do this...

P.S. That headlight assembly is not chinese, if I remember right, some months ago, the american company that realizes them asked here on the forum for someone to perform tests before selling.
A JF user had it for testing.

LEDs don't distribute light like the halogens they are marketed to replace. Halogens produce a cylindrical shape of light. LEDs do not replicate that. It's the same situation as to why drop-in HIDs are a bad idea. Individuals smarter than us with a greater understanding of the physics of light distribution designed the OEM headlamp assembly for halogens and halogens only (Yes cheap LED drop-ins didn't exist then but that doesn't change the fact that currently LED drop-ins don't replicate halogens like they need to be a viable alternative.) In fact to go one step further most aftermarket headlamp assemblies are absolute junk. And have failed when measured up the same lighting standards as OEM assemblies. Idk how to post the link to a study without actually posting the full original link. If anyone wants it I'll put it in this thread. People say to do their research these days so I've been doing that trying to upgrade my 99 4.0 lighting. And sadly what I found has been disappointing to say the least. Especially when OEM assemblies are are to find without spending $800 for both assemblies. I would have loved to get some aftermarket projector headlamps and LED or HID bulbs for them but from my research it's just not safe or legal for a vehicle on the road with other drivers. So far I've found the 9011/9012 bulb upgrade acceptable, polishing helped a little (still looking at sourcing new assemblies because of stress cracks and reflectors can degrade), and I'm looking into installing a headlight relay to make sure my low and high beams get the highest voltage my 99 4.0 puts out (voltage makes a dramatic difference in the light output of the bulbs).

Very nice looking! Appreciate all the pics too. I'm seriously considering the exact same ones( from Amazon, since I believe they have easier returns)
Do you have any FM radio static from the LED halos? I just returned the Spyder brand(the second style you show in your first post) because of the static and I didn't care for the hard cut off line the projectors gave.

Will do. They said I won't get them until the end of October though. Here's a pic with the Spyders that I returned.
