Front hitch receiver

I have an 03 WJ Overland and would like suggestions for a good compatible front hitch receiver so I can mount a winch carrier on it. That way I can move it from front to back if need be.

I bought a Warn front hitch model # 61768. Got it used from a guy who had a set of tow hooks welded to it as well so I wouldn't lose those- hitch bolts to the factory tow hook holes. It also has the benefit of being a lower radiator protector.

I will say that even though the previous owner said he did use it one time with a front mount winch, I sure wouldn't go crazy with anything but a straight line pull unless you add some gussets or something to the hitch. I bought it to maneuver a trailer in a tight spot, not to use for winching, though I probably would do that if I had a winch and needed it up front.

Hi, wanted exactly the same thing oddly for a '03 Overland - ordered the Warn through Kolak. I have a winch plate that fits on a 2" towball and ordered the receiver towball and also a receiver shackle via Kolak too.

To my mind having a winch that will fit on either the front or back and can be removed when not needed makes a bunch of sense. I started a thread on this but not many replies.

I have used Anderson plugs on the winch cables, made an extension lead with Andersons either end and have a short lead to the battery with an Anderson on that the lives on the car making connections pretty easy.
