Cowl replacement help

My 2004 GC WJ was out in a hailstorm and one of the parts that got damaged was the windshield/hood cowl (where the wipers are). Looking for the part, and on all the Mopar part sites, it's been discontinued. And I can't find it aftermarket. Does anyone know if there's a good place to find one (new)? I'd like to find a new one before I decide to get a used one.

Thanks!

200 new, 20 used. seems like a no-brainer. don't know if yours has screws or push-pins, but if it's the pins, you can get them at amazon

Go to your local "Pull and Pay". The cowl cover is all plastic and they will clean up real nice. Apply some "Back to Black" and your good to go. Grab some extra push pins while your there also.

Thanks! I called my local dealership. They didn't have one but saw in their system a couple of dealerships that did. Ordered one.

I'm gonna check my local yards to see if there are any WJs, but not a lot here in this little town. Gotta drive an hour. I'll make it a point to stop and check next time I'm in the bigger cities.

I heard this from three different dealers but in the end they didn't have the part I was looking for. They just didn't update their inventory after selling the last one. I hope in your case they actually have the cowl.

Actually, my dealership gave me the number of two other dealerships. One had it, the other didn't.

I had one dealer confirm they had the part I was looking for, but after ordering it, I received an email the next week telling me that I was getting a refund because they did not have it after all.
Hope your result is better.
