blower motor stuck on?

I've had to pull the blower motor relay on my 99 wj because the blower will not turn off, even when the indicator is in the off position. I haven't had time to diagnose the prob, however I was hoping someone may have had a similar prob and could save me some hastle. any thoughts? thanks

Try a new relay, it could be that the one you have is blown and is just letting the current run through

Hi Howiedooit,

Did you get any cure for your blower not stopping? Just yesterday I run into the same kind of problem with my '00 WJ. Blower is all the time at full speed and wont stop even with removing ignition key? Is killing battery in a couple of hours... Any one elsehaving this kind of problem?

It probably melted the wires in the on position, check the resistor under the glove box area, very common issue.
