Best way to reinstall trans cooler lines to radiator ?

Hi there, I am switching my radiator out on my 2003 jeep WJ 4.7 and need some help on what is the best way to reinstall the trans cooler lines that you screw on to the radiator. I have read that if I don't make them tight enough they'll leak and if I over tighten them then they'll strip and leak and that I have to remove the radiator again to tighten them up if I don't get it right the first time. Is it a good idea to use blue loctite on the receiving end threads and then tighten them up with a 7/8 wrench until they cant tighten at all anymore? thanks

They are a flare seal, no need to gorilla torque them or put loctite on them. You DO have to hold the hex on the fitting while tightening up the line to it, and make sure the flare surface on both fitting and line are clean.

...or dump that integrated radiator system and get an external cooler, mount it in front of the radiator. Cheap & easier than connecting the OEM stuff up.

What Mr. Double E said. This is the best solution.
