Arrow Am I missing anything......???

(Such a rehashed subject...lol)
Next Project on deck is to redo my ENTIRE HVAC system. I have the problems with the blend doors and the recir door. Since I have to pull the entire dash, the smart thing to do is replace EVERYTHING that's mechanical or moves.
Parts List - (Am I missing anything)
Blend Doors - 2
Recir Door - 1
Motor/actuator for all 3
Heater Core
Evaporator
Foam (to replace all the decayed vent seals)

Missing anything? Or any other recommendations?....

10+ plus hours I'm estimating. Gonna replace clock spring while it's out. Finally get rid of that pesky Airbag light!

@Kolak can you fill this shopping list for me?

you might want new hoses for the heater core and maybe a new thermostat.

Yea!! not a bad idea!! I'll replace the ones that lead from the heater core.
As for the thermostat, that's a repair for later. I tried to replace it when I flushed the coolant a few months back. But, one of the bolts was seized up. Running out of time I elected to save it for later. Didn't want to get stuck if the bolt broke. Spring time I'm diving into that plus replacing all the hoses under the hood with Silicone hoses.

How many hoses in there for the heater core? 4 I believe.....
How's everyone feel about replacing the AC Evap? Is it necessary? I heard they last forever, but not sure how true that is

Hoses for Heater Core....
Heater to Pipe 1
Pipe 1 to the engine
Heater to Pipe 2
Pipe 2 to engine
There may be a 5th one?......

2 hoses for the heater core, they will be very hard to get off, I ended up cutting the ends to relieve some pressure. And for the amount of $ it costs to replace the evaporator, I would, you don't want to be doing this job more than once

Look closer and you'll find that there are actually FOUR hoses. Don't forget the other end of the metal lines that go across the valve cover, to the water pump. The rubber at that end should be replaced also. The ends are crimped from the factory but you can just cut the crimp, replace the rubber and install hose clamps.

I have a problem with drainage in mine. I've done the blend door replace before and it didn't fix the drainage. I'm thinking of doing it again (going to replace the heater and ac cores and hoses as well), and was thinking I might try drilling out or somehow improving the drain. Do you have this issue?

Will you be using oem or aftermarket? I will be doing the same as you soon I want to replace everything including my resistor and blower motor. I'm actually doing the blower motor this weekend but I also would like to add the hvac filter.

if you are doing the evaporator you may want to do the receiver dryer as well.

No, I haven't noticed any drainage problems. You're referring to AC drainage correct?

Some OEM (the door motors) then mostly aftermarket. But that depends. If I order directly from RockAuto. But I'm going to message Kolak see if he can get me a package together that would include EVERYTHING.
