Aftermarket WJ support

Mods, feel free to move this as it's been a while since I've been on the forum(the last update from 3 years ago kicked me out and I couldn't reset my password ), but I thought I'd let the community know that there is a shootout in FL that is supporting the WJ platform. I am in no way related or sponsored by them, nor have I ordered from them(although I am getting ready to). On YT, his channel name is Spiral Design Works. Online, his shop is Echelon Design Works. He has a nice front and rear bumper design, and he has some specialty items too. I really like his rear glass to opening hatch design . Anyhow, just wanted to let people know that there is still hope out there for us crazy WJ lovers. Happy trails.

I've had an order in with them since May 2nd, still waiting.

Supposedly waiting for materials so they can manufacture what I ordered.

I can deal with delays because of this coronavirus thing, but their comms is kinda lacking. At the 3 week point of not hearing anything, I had to message them to find out what's going on with my order.

Still looking at maybe another 2 weeks according to them.

So, fingers crossed. I want to say good things about their products but I need to get the stuff first.

Mattimus, as someone who works for a multi billion dollar company, I can attest to materials shortages. My company has manufacturing plants in several countries, and we've never had product shortages like this since the COVID19 ordeal.

Bigrigr(hope that was right) you want to talk awesome builds...check this series out if you haven't already watched it.

Yep, I get that. I've been dealing with similar issues in my industry.

But, like I said. Three weeks without a word from them that there would be a delay isn't exactly a good first impression of their customer service.

You'd think at some point somebody would have said, "hey, maybe we should let our customer know it's going to take a while to get him what he paid for".

Ya know?

Believe me, I want to see them succeed. They're the only vendor I've found that makes molle panels for the WJ, and that conversion for the rear quarter window to a hatch is brilliant.

99WJ01TJ, I have seen that build as well. that is an offroad monster for sure, on an unlimited budget. Maybe after I hit the lottery? Oh wait...my state doesn't have a lottery...

Well, it's florida, so the shoot out is probably more likely LOL

But wow- that WJ! I love the bumper and the rear windows! Not so much the rear bumper stuff, but wow still, did he use monstaliner too?
