45psi oil pressure, without engine running...

A couple months ago I had my oil pressure guage maxed out. Had 50psi with the engine off. Swapped the sensor with my parts Jeep solved it. A couple weeks ago I swapped the instrument cluster as I had a dash brake light issue. This morning I notice the oil pressure gauge was again maxed out and I'm getting 49psi with the engine off.

I've changed both the oil pressure sender and the instrument cluster(with
230,000+ mile parts). Issue has reoccurred.

Where do I look next? If I dig into a back corner of the garage I've got a 97,000mile engine I can pull the sensor from, but I'm now thinking its s wiring issue.

Haven't done anything yet. This time of year I'm working sunup to sundown and no garage so any repairs wait till weekends.
