4.7 HO Cam bad. Can't find replacement

I have a 2004 overland with a 4.7 ho engine. I need a driver side camshaft. Cannot find ANY!!!!
Jeep at risk of going to junkyard over an unobtainable cam. Can I get a set of non ho cams and put them in? I know I'd lose some horsepower. That's fine I just want my jeep running. Anyome help me here?

eBay always has HO cams, or yes, you can swap in non-ho cams, but i'd do both, not just one. I have a set of non-ho cams if u need them.

How much would you want for the cams?
Are you for sure they can be swapped?

I'd be happy with $50 plus shipping. they have 200k miles on them, but I'm the original owner of the vehicle with every receipt for ever nut, bolt and drop of oil I've ever put into the engine.

I'm assuming they can be swapped. If you can swap from non-ho to HO, then it stands to reason you can go the other way as well. The difference is in the lobe grind. Researching that would be on you, but i can't see why not. You wouldn't get the full benefits of the HO any more, but for $50, you keep your heap out of the junk yard.

Anyway let me know!

I see some availability of HO cylinder heads all assembled with the HO camshaft. I can assist with that if you want to go that route. PM me here on the forum or email me at [email protected]
