1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 with AZC - no power to AZC - cannot run diagnost

1999 Grand Cherokee Limited - 4.7L with AZC.

Get in the car the other day and notice no air is blowing at all and the AZC screen is not displaying the usual "LO, HI, or temperature readings. The AZC unit backlights are still working but the unit appears to have no power.

So far:

Checked fuses and relays with self powered circuit tester

checked blower resister with self powered circuit tester
checked blower motor with self powered circuit tester
Pulled AZC from dash and checked motherboard - looked fine

Car has no other symptoms other than apparently no power to AZC and therefore no A/C, heat, fan or defrost. Winter approaching - car undriveable. Please help at wit's end.

I should add - when I press or hold the rear defrost button on the AZC - the interior cabin lights dim and there is a click noise behind the odometer and steering wheel.

several fuses for AZC, in cab JB you need to confirm they have 12v both sides.
fuse # 20 a 10 amp, fuse #7 a 10amp,
Do you have a wiring diagram?

Pushing defrost the Clicking noise is likely relay.

GTG

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

I do not have a wiring diagram - may I please have a link to one?

All the fuses check out okay so far.

None of the other functions related to fuses are down just the AZC unit. Turn signals working fine, heated seats working fine, easy exit seats working, cigarette lighter working.
