Wk what are these "sensors"

hello, new guy here, was cleaning the WK and saw these, don't seem to be ambient light cause they don't turn on with the lights on like all the other lights, it has one on each door and you can see some wires going into it, its a Laredo with keyless go, don't feel like taking apart the door just to find out what they are so pleas shine some light on what are they, thanks.

I have blue led lights in that little slit that illuminate the bottle holder. It lights up when the door is opened and when the headlights are on.

Yes. Stock from the factory that way. It’s a ‘20 Trailhawk.

I have the luxury and protech 2. Neither list the ambient lighting as an option. This is standard Trailhawk. Also include the door handles, cup holders and the overhead console.

There are three types of door panels, base (Laredo), premium (Limited and above), Luxury (Overland and above). I think the lighting is different in each, but that may vary by model year. The TrailHawk is a Limited.

looking into moparpartsgiant with the vin this is what resembles the most but still not sure, I don't see where the light would be mounted as in the pic, and with the part number I cant find any good pic to make sure it is this part 68080912AA, anyone with a Laredo please post a pic of the ambient door light?
