Uncomfortable Seats in 2017 Summit

Does anyone else have uncomfortable front seats in their new Summit? My seats hit me right on my upper back around my shoulder blades and I cannot get comfortable at all while driving. I've attempted to adjust the lumbar and height of the seat. I've physically moved myself up and down in the seat and side to side, but cannot find a decent spot. I have it in to the dealership right now to see if there is something wrong with the seats, but of the 15 vehicles I've owned, this is by far the most uncomfortable I have ever driven.

I find the seats in my 17 Summit extremely comfortable. I came from a 15 F150 Platinum that had the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in.

So either once in awhile they get a bad batch of seats or it's just personal preference. But either way it sucks to drive something uncomfortable.

When my 2012 and 2015 were new the seats were too firm for me. After a few months of ownership they settled in and were/are very comfortable. How many miles do you have on it?

Did you test drive the new Summit before purchase? You bought it anyway?

My Trailhawk seats are really comfortable. Wish I could find and make a set of them work in my JK. Now those are some uncomfortable seats.

I recall similar posts awhile ago, seemed to be taller drivers. Dunno what the resolution was.

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory;

I have a '17 Summit and I'm ~6' 2". I find them to be extremely comfortable especially coming from a '14 Overland.

Funny, my wife has a 2011 Laredo X Leather (cant be much different than a Summit shapewise), and I have a 2015 F150 Lariat and both seats are pretty comfy. Just shows its all personal preference.

I now have 6,000 miles. I am beginning to think it might have to do with the rear entertainment screens in the seat.

I drove it, but how many miles does it really take to settle into a new car? I even asked them to take a longer drive, about 50 miles round trip, to make sure everything was good. I guess it felt good in those 50 miles.

Seat Uncomfortabe

I have a 2017 GC Loredo. I would guess that a lot of people who find the seat uncomfortable might be bigger than average. I am 6'2" and about 240 lbs. When I sit, the backs of my legs between my knee and butt sit on top of the rolling sides of the seat base. This gets uncomfortable quickly, and mostly there is nothing I find that I can do other than sit too far right, then too far left, repeat, repeat.

Anyone else experience this, and if yes have you found a solution? I am trying to find something to put on top to make it more 'level' from left to right. I'm also wondering if that would work in the winter months with the heated seats.

Any ideas are welcome!
