Cool Trailhawk hood decals

I have a 2019 grand Cherokee Trailhawk and wondering what people use to protect the hood decal. What kind of product. Thanks bfe7ac55-c22a-436d-ada9-ad3378f0c8f2.jpg

I’ll be curious to see as well. I’ve never put anything on my 18 but it sits in the garage at home and parking garage at work so not a lot of exposure. Shortly after I bought it I let an idiot detail it and they waxed the decal with a buffer to get out water spots. I do not recommend that....

I have a 2019 GC Trailhawk, same color. too. When I bought it I put on a ceramic coating to protect the paint and make it a lot easier to clean after playing in the mud.

Itís a bit time consuming, but worth it. You can apply it to glass and decals. It made mine look darker (weird to say for a black decal), but it looks really good. Itís not shiny with the ceramic coating either, so no glare. Bird poop comes right off with no marks from the acid.

Hereís a link to what I used. Lasts ~3 years.

I use the ArmorAll matte wipes. It seems to work good and leaves a clean matte finish.
I've heard 303 Products UV Protectant works great and leaves a matte finish. Probably better than The ArmorAll wipes.
The last thing I want is to put a gloss on it with a vinyl shine/protectant, but that's me.

After washing it, I use Car Guys Hybrid Spray Wax on it. Itís safe for the black vinyl and didnít discolor it at all.

Thanks for all your suggestions but I went for Meguiarís Ultimate Liquid Wax. Makes the decal dark matte black. And the dry residue doesnít make the plastic white9005976d-3709-4055-8503-ec918d697cf7.jpg

That looks good. Can you add a pic like that of what it looks like dry?

Trailhawk hood decal

I do not apply anything to the Trailhawk decal and it still looks good after a couple years. It gets washed about once a month depending on offroad usage. Dont even garage any of my jeeps.
