Sump plate for my GC Trailhawk

I am looking for a sturdier sump skid plate for my 2021 Trailhawk.

The Offroad Animal is available but it is aluminum. I like the material but I am curious if anyone has one and how visible it might be from the front. I know I probably shouldn't care but I don't want a shiny aluminum plate showing prominently on my mostly black/grey trimmed GC.

Does anyone have a pic of theirs with the stock bumper installed?

Also, I'm interested in why both companies that make them are back-ordered.

Any insight would be helpful! Thank you.

I run the Chief guard with the access plate for the oil filter. You can barely see it unless you pull the lower fascia. You can contact them to see when the next batch is shipping to the US. It took about 2 months to get mine when I ordered it.

Iíve been running the ORA bash plate for a while and love it. Although it is aluminum, itís held up to some abuse. The one time I did dent it, I was able to pull it off and hammer it back out.

You can see in the 3rd pic that itís not really noticeable unless you are looking under it.

I went with the chief one with access plate. I too did not want a shiny plate with all the other stuff being black. I haven't installed it yet. I need to fix my oil pan leak first.

Well worth the wait. The attention to detail on Chief products is amazing, I am an engineer and just love the recessed bolt protectors. It doesn't affect the performance but it means you can still easily remove the blots, even after some serious rock contact.

With the factory bumper, you won’t see much. I’ll try to get a pic tomorrow.

With the lower fascia in place, you really don't notice it.

You almost have to get under it to see it.

I see you have changed tires. Do you like the new set?

Absolutely love them. They are a bit more noisy than the Ridge Grapplers, but their traction offroad was worth it. They held up really well to all the sharp, loose rock in Hot Springs.
