Summit Suspension/Drive Options

Hi everyone. Curious to know what my 2017 Summit has for suspension. I know we have the Quadra-Lift but how do we know what we have for Quadra-Drive if so? I don't see anything on the window sticker. Just curious...

You can get an option sheet for your VIN via the customer portal at jeep.com Look for AWB or DSF

Summit V8s and diesels had QD standard, don't think it was available on a V6. If you look under and see a motor hanging off the rear dif, you have QD. Dunno about lat models, but early models displayed Quadra Drive in the EVIC on startup.

Some people think I'm stupid and I totally disagree. But my biggest fear is that me thinking I'm smart proves them right.

this is in the standard set of options in the My Vehicle Equipment section... so that answers my questions I guess. I will also look for the motor on the rear diff.
Quadra-Trac II (R) 4WD System

Thanks!

They will all (limited and above) list Quadra-Trac II as thats the transfercase. Those with QD will also list a limited slip diff (DSF) and/or Quadra-Drive (AWB).

ahhhh so many quadra things! I probably don't have it Mopar side isn't showing options codes. Is there an option sticker somewhere possibly under the hood or in the spare tire area?

Try entering your VIN in the attached build sheet link:

https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing

I would imagine all 5.7 Summits come with the QDII - just re-read & saw that CC already posted this!

19 WK2 5.7 High Altitude current, gone:
16 WK2 3.6 Limited
03 WJ 4.7 HO Limited
94 ZJ 5.2 Laredo

Real simple! Go to off road page in U Connect screen / Vehicle Dynamics.....Put in neutral, push low range button on console. (You wanna be in 4 Low) If it's shows two locks on the screen you have QD. If it's just showing the one transfer case lock you have QTII. (See photo below) I have QTII.

I'm trying to remember but I don't think the 17 Summit came with QD I believe it's on the 19 models. Let me know I'm curious?

Unless it was changed for 2020, all V8 or Diesel Summits have QD as standard equipment.
