replacement radio 430 rbz

Hi, thanks for information can this group give me . I am new with this radio system because recently buy a 2012 grand cherokee laredo with a RBZ radio. the jeep have OEM uconnect, bluetooth , hands free, rear cam but the radio don't have sirius. I am interested a radio with sirius, I take out the radio and see I have pre installed cable with the yellow plug from SAT antenna. What radio can I use ? RBZ with Sirius or another model.? I Don't need Nav just add sirius.

I was also reading about low and high speed bus radio. THis 2012 cherokee come or not with high speed bus?

thanks everybody

The 2012 has high speed bus. It also was the first year with a security code so if you get an used OEM replacement, you may also need the code for the radio.

But, the OEM WK2 430/RBZ should have an integrated Satellite Radio. It may not have traffic or travel link. I think the very base 130/RES was the only one without.

If you want to expand your options outside of OEM, check what crutchfield offers. They can pretty much sell you a whole kit.

Looks like you may have a replacement radio. There are RBZs without SiriusXM, but they were not OEM in a WK2 for the general public. They could do something different for fleet sales.

Do you have a Laredo or Limited?

So you should be able to plug in a high speed rbz with sirius without issue.

Just go iDatalink with whatever aftermarker. I am looking at this one Pioneer MVH 1400nex which gives me apple car play and 99% of the oem features (plus a free xm tuner with rebate)
