Need help with rear muffler replacement please?

Hey all,

I saw a video on YouTube, in which a guy put some Magnaflow mufflers on his WK2.
He said they were the 14832 model seen here:

https://www.amazon.com/MagnaFlow-Exh...omotive&sr=1-2

Here is the video of the mufflers:

I love the sound…and know that he did more than just rear mufflers.
However, I am starting at the rear, and moving forward. So I purchased these, and took it to my muffler shop, and they said that those mufflers would not fit.
That there is not enough room for them to connect correctly, even if they bent the pipes going to the mufflers.

Can some one help me out with what I can indeed replace the stock mufflers with? I am looking for a performance muffler to add some tone and growl to actual hear the Hemi.
Has anyone just replaced the mufflers with something from Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Borla, etc., and what is the part number and do you have pictures and videos?

Thank you all SO SO much! I really appreciate it.
Take care!

There are a couple threads indexed in the modification thread. Anything besides Corsa will drone, especially magnaflow. It may or not bother you, but be prepared to rip everything out as its not easy to get right. A good compromise for what you want to do seems to be to replace the suitcase muffler with an X pipe.

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory;

Thanks you for the reply and help. I really appreciate it.
It sounds as though this will be a tough thing to do without drone. 😩
Guess I will be taking these Magnaflow mufflers back, and going with Corsa.
What if I replace the suitcase muffler with an H pipe? Will that work as well?
