Leather Dash Replacement, thank you Jeep Cares

My 2011 Overland dash started bubbling and wrinkling around 1 year ago, about 3 weeks ago I contacted Jeep Cares on this site, shortly thereafter I received a phone call from Jeep out of Michigan. They asked me to take it in to my local dealer and have them take pictures of the dash. A few days later Jeep called me back and told me they would replace the dash as long as I agreed to pay a $200 deductible. Needless to say, my Overland was out of warranty and I honestly didn't expect anything from Jeep so I was thrilled with paying $200 vs. $1800.

My faith in the Jeep brand has been restored!

I've owned a Jeep product since 1996 and currently have 3, my 2011 Overland, a 2007 JK and a 2003 TJ. When my dash started wrinkling I almost swore off Jeep forever.......

Now, I feel that Jeep really stepped up and put the customer first, I'll always drive a Jeep, may not always be my daily driver but I'll keep one in the stable.

Which dealership did you take to? How long did they have your WK2?

Ed Voyles and 2 days. You will need a case number from Jeep before going to a dealer.

Jeep Cares is amazing, the service and support they give is outstanding. They also restored my faith in the brand after a mishap a few weeks ago.

2015 Grand Cherokee Laredo With 8.4 radio with nav/wheel group and All Weather Group added.

Funny, my dealership laughed when I asked if this would be covered. Are you the original owner? I have the same year and the same dash issue. I bought my '11 in March '15 and I'm also the second owner.

Original owner, I went thru Jeep Cares first, then went to the dealer after instructed to do so.

I tried that but was told by the dealer to buzz off, even after I tried to explain that I had an appointment thru jeep!

glad you got sorted, but I still got a bad taste thru all this.

My dash bubbled and looks terrible. I went to the dealer and they refused to help even though I paid for the extended warranty. I am very disappointed in Jeep. I would like to know how many other owners have the same problem. I am an attorney and am considering legal action. [email protected]
