One day I'll count all the badges and logos on the JKU and all the ones on the Harley and compare just for giggles.
On mine it only had "Wrangler" "Rubicon" and the trail rated badge. Both sides would be 6 total.

It's more than just you trust me. People won't come forth and say they'd like a tasteful hemi badge just because people in this thread deem it classless and vain. Seriously? Putting a hemi badge on a hemi vehicle sure is taboo round these parts!

I'm thinking I could make a lot of money producing "Love My WK2" and "Hate My WK2" badges. Or maybe it should be one badge to rule them all, saying "Love and Hate My WK2".

The issue is that there are so many pretenders out that if I saw a V8 badge on a Jeep then I would assume it is phony.

There is a Saturn (FWD) down my street that has huge, racing slicks on the back!!!!
There is also a Pinto with a big, adjustable wing!!!!
...and how many SS Chevy trucks did they make?

I laugh every time I see them.

You can get mad and insult people all you want. It's a boastful thing to do.

Not easy, there's a lot of 'em. Especially when you consider the SRT stamped into the forged rims, the SRT in the center of the steering wheel, and SRT embroidered into the seat backs. Not to mention the big shiny red calipers which also kinda give you away.

I wish mine didn't have the ugly Flex-fuel badge. I think they removed that one for 2015.

I'm with you. I'm a car guy, I pay attention to other cars, like to see small subtle badges indicating engine or special options like BMW has the M series, cadillac has the V series, the numeral options on all the german sedans all indicate V6 or V8, etc. Subtle is good. But whether to badge, or not to badge, is a personal option. I know a lot of guys on other forums remove the V8 or SS badges etc. The new Camaro for example is very hard to tell the V8 model from the V6 model. I know many Camaro fans actually don't like this but automakers are probably doing it for cost savings. My buddy is an engineer for Jeep and he told me how much all those badges cost and they give serious consideration to what they put on the outside of the vehicle

I'm gearhead too.

Hell, even MY WIFE is one.

Any gearhead worth their salt will be able to tell if there's a "special option" or package.

But let's be clear, a WK2 with a Hemi is no equivalent for Jeep of a BMW M-series.

The M-Series is more like the SRT. It's representative of significant drivetrain and chassis upgrades, more than just going from a V6 to a V8 and maybe putting bigger brakes on.

I saw a Honda Del Sol this morning with a HUGE carbon fiber wing on the back, and it said "Powered by AMG". I got light-headed I was laughing so hard lol.
