Front Parking Sensors

Guys,

I canít seem to find a topic on this. How difficult is it to add the front parking sensors to a WK2 without them?

Timely thread. My just acquired 2014 has 'Park Sense' and thus rear sensors, it'd be nice to have them in front as well.

On earlier models, you'd have to replace the Park Assist Module with one capable of reading the front sensors, install six sensors in the front bumper, wire them up, and add the option code to the ECU.... as a minimum. I don't think the instrument panel gauges pack is different, but it could be. I don't see a kit in the accessory catalog, but there may be one.

I recall a discussion awhile ago, I don't think anyone actually went through with it, but I think some opted for an aftermarket solution.

Thanks. I know we did this a lot with Chargers for the rear sensors when they first came out. The hardest parts back then weíre cutting for the sensors and getting the dealer to add the code.
