DIY: Replace Exterior Mirror Housing

Backstory: I bashed my driver side mirror against the garage door frame when backing out. Instead of having a stealership fix it (@ $800+), I was able to find a slightly used mirror of a wrecked '20 WK2 Limited. Instead of removing the interior door trim and dealing with that mess, I found out a better way to replace the housing. Took about an hour to do everything.

Tools required:
Phillips Screwdriver
T10 allen wrench
Masking tape (to mark the wires)

Instructions
1.) Turn the mirror a little bit away from the door. Pull on the bottom right-hand corner to loosen the mirror. It should just pop off.

Label the two wires on the top of the mirror and disconnect the wires. Also, disconnect the white wire connector and set mirror side

2.) After the mirror is removed, remove the mirror motor by removing the 3 T10 torx bolts (two at the top, one at the bottom; not the center bolt.

3.) Disconnect the blue wiring harness from the motor. Disconnect the turn signal red wiring harness by pressing up on the bottom of the red connector.

4.) Turn the motor clockwise to expose the screw at the base of the mirror. Remove the screw to loosen mirror housing from the base.

Re-install the mirror housing and route the wiring. Re-assemble in the reverse order.
