Adding power folding mirrors

i am looking to add power folding mirrors to my 2014 wk2 srt. i have seen some discussions online about it but i havent seen one where it was successfully completed and there seems to be a ton of different part numbers to use. im wondering if anyone added any on their wk2 and what they did to get it to work. Thanks

Parts needed to add power mirrors to WK2

So far I have determined the possible choices for the power window, door lock and power folding mirror switch assembly you need in driver's door is 68184803AC. The switch w/o folding mirrors you will be replacing is 68030823AC or AE.

The R/H door switch 68290692AB is same for both manual and power folding mirrors.

One choice of many power AND power folding mirrors is 68365716AC R/H and 68365717AC L/H.

68365716AC
Positions:
Right
Other Names:
Mirror-Outside Rear-View
Description:
Power memory, textured, without blind spt. Power folding, painted, without blindspot, textured.
Replaces:
68146174AA, 68146174AB, 68236923AA, 68236923AB, 68236923AC, 68365716AA, 68365716AB.

L/H power AND power folding mirror is 68365717AC SKU:
68365717AC
Positions:
Left
Other Names:
Mirror-Outside Rear-View
Description:
Power memory, textured, without blind spt. Power folding, painted, without blindspot, textured.
Replaces:
57010705AE, 57010705AF, 57010705AG, 57010705AH, 57010705AI, 68236929AA, 68236929AB, 68236929AC, 68257941AA, 68257941AB, 68365717AA, 68365717AB

These are Black or paintable POWER FOLDING part numbers without blind spot option.

Power mirrors with memory and actual power folding mirrors with memory are two different things.

There are two 30A fuses hot at all times Fuse 20 for passenger mirror and Fuse 24 for driver's mirror. These fuse are also for other power door switches systems functions. Reference Shop manual 2014-2017 Wiring diagrams Memory Systems Memory Mirrors Systems Fig 1 and Fig 2.

Well, today I got my R/H power folding chrome mirror from Rock Auto and the driver door power switch module with power mirror fold switch.

Once I see that I can make the right passenger door power folding mirror work I may go looking for a L/H one for driver's door.

its surprising that a 2014 SRT doesn't already have it. My 2014 Summit has power folding mirrors.

Hey how did that setup end up working? Really interested if it's really that easy.

I haven't had time to install yet as overcome by other life events and weather has been hot and humid.

Been studying shop manual to see how to remove passenger door panel to get to mirror attachment point and wiring connections.

i have been doing more research on it and im pretty sure we would need to also get a different door module.

One choice of many power AND power folding mirrors is NOT 68365716AC R/H or 68365717AC L/H.

I am sure adding CORRECT power folding mirror (whatever the correct part numbers ARE) and correct driver's door control module WHICH I have would work. HOWEVER COMMA I ordered wrong passenger side mirror (did not order driver's side mirror YET. It was incorrectly identified/labelled on Rock Auto as power folding. I JUST got another manual folding mirror just like I already had so wrong part number - My Bad.

I did however install the correct driver door module and the wrong passenger side mirrow.

At least I now know how to remove a WK2 inner door panel. New wrong mirror sure folds easier manually than one I removed.
