2020 GC Trackhawk on order

My dad decided he wanted a Trackhawk so I helped him place the order today. Used my local dealer who has always been very easy to work with and gave him a great price. They treated my dad very well when he bought his 2017 GC SRT from them new.

Since I canít figure out how to post a pic of the sales order with all of the option prices hereís a breakdown of the cost and price:

MSRP: $86,900 / Invoice: $82,628
W/ Options: $97,769 / Invoice: $92,480
Holdback: $2,888

Final sales price: $90,000 (plus T&L)

($7,769 under MSRP and $2,480 under invoice)

I know thereís some Trackhawkís out there selling for $10,000 or more under MSRP, but my dad wanted a custom ordered one that hadnít been sitting.

We have the VON (vehicle order number) so itíll be interesting to see how long it takes to build and arrive at the dealer.

If anyone is interested in knowing which dealer, PM me and Iíll give you the name and my contact there.

Update:

The Trackhawk has been built and has an estimated ship date of 12/5.

This might be the fastest delivery of a new car ever. Lol

Update: Delivery date is estimated to be 12/18. So exactly one month from when we ordered it.

My 2020 Limited arrived 3 weeks and 3 days after the order was placed. The dealer had told me it would take 6-8 weeks, and I was stunned when they called and said it was sitting on their lot. However, that wasn't close to my order of a 350Z back in 2002. That was supposed to take 4 months, and it arrived 9 days after I ordered. A lot depends on what the company already has going in its manufacturing pipeline, or sitting at the port.

I had no idea what the Trackhawk was.....what an amazing Jeep! So glad we can still order such great vehicles even if they cost a lot of $! I'll take mine in Black though! I'm thoroughly pleased with my 2019 Black/Black Laredo Altitude...still under 1,000 miles! Only issue I had was with the paint.....Jeep does a horrible job examining/correcting paint on their Jeeps before they leave the factory. Tell you Dad to look closely when he picks that baby up..and I mean "look close"! Oh, and I hope it doesn't have ESS! Good luck & Enjoy!

None of the Hemi engines have ESS. Iíll make sure he looks close at the paint.

The Trackhawk got unloaded from the train today. Now waiting on a truck to fill up to deliver it to the dealer. They said 5-10 business days for that, but with Christmas coming up that it could change.

Make sure to allow for several hours to over the vehicle inside and out paying special attention to cosmetics. Make sure that you look at it in decent light and don't hurry. Print out and bring something like this along with a notepad where you can itemize all damage or missing parts.

Take photographs of all damage and have the dealer initial your list of damage. Take a picture of your list and email it to them along with the pictures.

Dealers are notorious for blaming cosmetic damage on you and may well say "that scratch wasn't there when you picked it up".

As always - pics or it didn't happen...

^ ^ ^ ^ WHAT HE SAID! ^ ^ ^ ^

I cannot stress it enough to check over the paint before taking delivery! Put the Jeep inside out of the direct sun. If the dealer acts inconvenienced....that's TOUGH! It would be a good idea to take an LED lamp too.

Good luck and please let us know how it goes. Hopefully, ineventfull!

And the Jeep arrived flawless. Or at least as flawless as a Jeep can. Nothing needed to be fixed.

It had 12 miles on it.

Exterior and interior looked just fine. No I didnít take a LED light or use a magnifying glass. Lol

And to the poster who said to expect to spend several hours going over the vehicle.... no way no how would I want to spend hours at the dealership.

Iíve bought many new cars over the years and I just donít want to spend hours taking delivery. A decent walk around and inspection works fine for me.

I shouldíve just hired you to take delivery and inspect it for me! You wouldíve been way more thorough than I was!

I canít post pics from my phone, but will post them when I can.
