2014 Service manual wanted

I know im probably beating a dead horse but need one for the 2014, just wondering if anyone has a handy linky to one that has the context menus/index. Need pdf version. I have one for the 2011-13 but not sure what the differences there are from that to the 14.

Right on thanks. Trying to find way to download the whole manual instead of sections.

To All:
Sorry, but the manual is too large to post here or email.
My apologies.

would be nice if admin would make these downloads available, just a few clicks would do it, and really help and grow the jeep gang here.

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

That would be nice but the service manuals are copyrighted. They cannot be posted here in their entirety without Jeep's permission. Small snippets can be extracted. We probably could post an index if anyone has one.

You can get service manuals either on CD (not a PDF) or via a subscription at techauthority.com

The forum has a 10MB PDF file size limit.

One of the forum rules is "- Posting of copywritten material (such as links to entire FSM's) is not allowed."

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory;

are you sure about that explanation especially reguarding a link - need a legal review, they are likely on the internet - public domain, potatoes potato.

BUt rules are rules.

Not a lawyer but I don't think the site owners want to spend the time in court if the copyright owner complains, intellectual property and all.

So far im not having a good jeep wk2 buying experience !
Bought this 2014 v8 overland last Saturday and the next day i discovered the headlight were not working, didnt have the time to take back to dealership 50 miles away until yesterday Saturday, spent 5 hours there waiting, the bulbs and ballasts were bad, didnt have to pay now have headlights yeah ! SO this morning i finally got to the section in manual on how to shift from 4h to 4 low , so decided to test and see if works ok, and it shifted into 4 low, felt both diffs lock. Drove it maybe 30ft and did the process to shift out of 4low and it would not at all. Then the light turned solid red on the (N) button below the shift dial so i can not even get the t case into neutral either. I have had a lot of jeeps in the past and have never had a major issue with any of them. My 97 ZJ v8 has 240,000 on the clock and still going. Wth with this 2014 ? I had though after 2013 models didnt have anything to do with Mercedes ? LoL. Also, the traction control is stuck on . THe off button doesnt do anything. I tried to disconnect battery for 30 minutes and that didnt help. Getting trouble codes for TCM , 215c-00 output shaft speed-wheel speed correlation, ABS, uo403-00 implausible data received from t-case, ascm - air suspension control module, p1db6-00 vehicle speed signal performance.
I did buy the mopar vehicle protection pre owned added care plus plan so i think its covered but not really sure if i want the jeep anymore, probably screwed now thats its out of the 5 day return period.

There are several threads on jammed transfer cases, at least one indexed in the maintenance/repair sticky thread. Shifting to 4L seems to uncover a hidden fault either in the transfer case or controller. The shift motor, position sensor, controller, warped clutches, bent to broken shift forks.... the indexed threads should cover them all.

When this happens you get all kinds of indications as one module or another complains and go into limp mode. Pretty simple once you understand it.

The transfer cases, engine, axle gears, V8 transmissions have always been corporate, not Mercedes. Since 2014 the V6 transmission has been corporate ZF. The transfer case is also used in GM light trucks and Cadillac SUVs.

Got word from the dealership, they said needs a new transfer case. Wow. What a bummer. Looks like the jeep is set up to be flat towed behind an rv. I wonder if previous owner didnt tow it right. Before i got the jeep dealership had put in new motor mounts, air compressor, rear air bags and springs.

Wow, so got word from the dealership today that they got the new transfer case installed but they have found that both differentials now need replaced also cause they are binding up and the fluid is full of gunk and metal. So, they are saying they need to get approval on the repair and afterwards the diffs are a good week out before they would get them in. So probably another 2+ weeks down !
This sucks beyond suck ! Im betting the trans and motor may be foobared too. Who knows. The jeep has a tow set up on the front so it can be flat towed behind a motor home, i wonder if perhaps it was towed wrong or something by a previous owner. Jeep has 90k on the odo .
