2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Wheel Vibration

Hi,

I was driving down the highway today going about 60 MPH and notice a weird hum/vibration noise coming from the front left wheel,

Also when I was braking, from 50-30 mph, I noticed the wheel was shaking.

The mileage is 46k.

Not sure if the rotors are toast in the front? I think the wheel is out of balance, would that make sense?

Are the lug nuts tight?

There have been issues with wheel bearings that get noisy and feels something like an out of balanced tire. Dunno if that would cause pulsing brakes. Any contaminants on the rotor?

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory;

New England rust. I don't think they have ever been replaced.

Iím dealing with a similar issue and would love to hear some feedback here. I purchased a Ď14 Cherokee Limited from my in laws this weekend and have some shutter/vibrations only when braking at higher speeds as you mentioned.

I assumed a break job would be a good so I went out and purchased new rotors and pads to change myself. Started with the backs tonight.

Similar mileage. 51k.

Iím having issues getting the rear caliper off though. Not to the bracket yet where Iíve noticed large torx. What size? And is it true these torx are one and done per manufacturer spec?

Iíve removed both 10mm nut and bolt. I canít seem to get top slider pin out or canít slide caliper back enough to remove without hitting coil. Any suggestions?
